Ron Alzer
SAP Business Consultant
My passion for IT originated the moment I saw a PC for the first time at my neighbors house. It was a ZX81 that had 1 Kilo Bite internal memory. That is actually 64 million times less than my current smartphone! Throughout my working life, I have been focused on optimizing maintenance systems for our clients. The development of, for example, predictive maintenance within or outside SAP fascinates me, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with our customers. I have been working in IT for the last 30 years, of which 25 within SAP. I still see new challenges in the field of SAP and I think this is due to the constant innovation SAP strives to achieve.
Active, Enthusiastic, Curious
My life motto: 'The future depends on what we do in the present.'
In 2001 we founded Qrcus. Next to all the interesting clients I have met since and the challenging projects I daily perform with and for them, I very much enjoy the extracurricular social events we organise at Qrcus. The celebration of our anniversary at the island of Jersey, a trip to Disneyland Paris with colleagues, their partners and children, karting, mountain biking in the caves in Valkenburg and a hot air balloon flight are just a few examples.
Next to my passion for IT, I enjoy being active. I like to play tennis, both competitively and recreationally, and I enjoy my daily walks with our dog Noor.
